Laura is nominated for the Best Actress Award for the role of Donovan in the latest her movie "Coffee Shop" at the Bradenton Arts Movieville Film Festival 2014, Sarasota, FL.

The movie was also nominated for 3 other awards: Best Cinematography, Best Picture and Best Director: Dave Alan Johnson (Details).

The Movie will be screened at the festival on 18 May 2014, 02:00 pm (Details) and the Award ceremony\Closing Gala will be held on the same day starting at 6:30 pm (Details).

Laura Vandervoort has served food to the homeless downtown in LA in support of "The Dream Center"

Yesterday afternoon (May 6, 2014), Laura and Oliver Trevena have served food to the homeless in LA's downtown SkidRow district in support of the voluntary organization "The Dream Center", proving once again that they are wonderful kind hearted people.
 

About "The Dream Center":
Founded in 1994, The Dream Center is a volunteer driven organization that finds and fills the needs of over 50,000 individuals and families each month.

The Dream Center’s purpose is to reconnect isolated people to God and a community of support by providing human services that address immediate and long-term needs in the areas of homelessness, hunger relief, medical care and education.
