Remember to watch tonight (Thursday, January 17th) Laura Vandervoort guest star on the final two episodes of "HAVEN" from 8-10 PM (ET/PT) on SyFy.

- Haven Finale Promo -
Here an article\interview to Laura about its appearances in this week on HAVEN and on CSI: NY from TVLine by M.Mitovich:
"Preview: Laura Vandervoort Raises Hell in Haven Finale, Then Seeks Revenge on CSI: NY
Laura Vandervoort has been a bad girl.
Laura Vandervoort has been a bad girl.
Having played Smallville‘s Supergirl and barely cut her (reptilian) teeth as a malicious V, the actress this week gets wicked with two distinct TV roles, in the postponed final two episodes of Syfy’s Haven Season 3 (Thursday starting at 8/7c) and on CBS’ CSI: NY (Friday, 9/8c).
On Haven, Vandervoort is playing James Cogan’s wife Arla, who has maintained her youthful essence via, no, not Kiehl’s, but “skinwalking.” Touting Arla as someone “the audience has been waiting to meet,” Vandervoort acknowledges that the character is “out for vengeance” but, more to the point, is “a true romantic who’s been hurt.”
“It’s about love for her,” Vandervoort explains. Recounting some backstory, she says, “Arla wanted to be with James, but then her troubles started happening, so her mother-in-law [Lucy] sort of betrayed her and left with her son, without me. So I’m out to get back at Audrey and to get my husband back” — if, as she suspects, James is in the Barn when it imminently rematerializes.
“Ideally in her mind, things will just be perfect if he can come back and Audrey can go away,” Vandervoort adds. “They can live happily ever after.” Uh-huh.
But in the name of skinwalking and compelling others (notably Audrey) to accept her “reunion” dream, Arla will need to get her hands quite dirty. “She is definitely a character people haven’t seen me play before, because she’s so dark and, like, twisted,” Vandervoort notes. “I’m a big fan of that sort of layered female character, but also the Tim Burton stuff. I love dark.”
Vandervoort came thisclose to going dark on ABC’s V, when extraterrestrial Lisa’s ferocious doppelgänger was introduced in what turned out to be the series finale. “Things were just getting really interesting for me when that ended,” she laments. “And I didn’t really get to do much of that in Smallville, because I was a goody-goody.”
On the topic of her Haven character’s special “skill,” we asked Vandervoort whose skin she would like to borrow. “That’s a little disturbing!” she starts, with a laugh. “But if it’s in terms of, like, ability and talent, I would want to trade skins — or, let’s call it ‘places’ — with Emma Stone, or Meryl Streep. And just because I think she’s got an amazing body, Jessica Biel.” "

The final episodes of Haven where Laura Vandervoort is a guest star rescheduled for January
Syfy has rescheduled the final episodes of Haven where Laura Vandervoort is a guest star for January, now the next date with the final two episodes of Season 3 will air on Thursday, January 17, 2013, from 8 to 10pm EST.
We remember that the episode of last Friday (December 14, 2012, the penultimate of the third season) is not aired (and postponed to a later date) for respect to victims of the tragedy in the elementary school Newtown (in Connecticut), because this episode contained scenes of fictitious violence in a high school.

Haven will not be airing tonight out of respect to the victims of today’s tragedy in the Newtown Elementary School
The episode of Haven (in with Laura Vandervoort is guest star) will not be airing tonight out of respect to the victims of today’s tragedy in the Newtown Elementary School (Connecticut).
"An episode of Syfy’s Haven dealing with fictitious violence at a high school scheduled to air tonight has been pulled from the schedule in the wake of this morning’s shocking mass shooting at a Newtown, Conn. elementary school.
“In light of today’s tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, we have decided not to air it,” the network said in a statement. “At this time, no decision has been made as to when the episode will air.”
Laura Vandervoort, who was to kick off a two-episode arc tonight as James Cogan’s vengeful wife, commends Syfy’s call, which she played a role in making. “There’s a fine line between our art of evoking emotions in others, portraying tainted, troubled and broken characters, and reality,” the Smallville alum tells TVLine. “I feel immense pain and sympathy for the families and children [in Newtown] and couldn’t bear the thought of the images in tonight’s episode upsetting people.”
And as a character who at one point in the episode walks a high school’s halls carrying a gun, “I couldn’t stomach it,” she shares. “I’m proud of Haven and Syfy for making the decision they did.”

Will Laura Vandervoort raise hell on Haven?
This article from TVLIne (by Matt Webb Mitovich) also talks about of the role of Laura in the two final episodes of Haven (will air, Friday December 14 and Friday December 21 at 10PM ET/PT on Syfy).
"Will Supergirl raise hell on Haven?
Smallville alum Laura Vandervoort kicks off her two-episode arc this Friday, starting with Season 3′s penultimate episode, and this much viewers have gleaned about her heretofore top-secret role: She is playing Arla, the wife of James Cogan (aka The Colorado Kid) — a neat trick since sooo many years have passed and she looks… well, like a twentysomething Laura Vandervoort. The actress describes Arla as someone who is “out for vengeance” yet is also “a true romantic who has been hurt.” The stone-cold revenge-seeker in her, though, promises to show fans “someone they haven’t seen me play before,” she raves. (I’ve seen this run’s final two hours, and Arla plays a pivotal role in some wiiiild stuff that goes down, as Audrey debates her fate/date with The Barn.)"

With all of the mysteries Audrey has been investigating—the Bolt Gun Killer, the search for her son, The Guard and her own past in Haven—converging at the same place and time, Audrey must face hard truths and make a terrible decision as the very existence of Haven hangs in the balance.

Article about Laura Vandervoort 's role in Haven
On BoomTron.com Poppin'Culture was published an article about Laura's role on Haven, entitled:
"Supergirl Laura Vandervoort Lands in Syfy’s Haven"
Here is a part of the article:
"Love Laura Vandervoort? You should, and you will be able to catch the former Smallville Supergirl in the upcoming third season of Haven. Vandervoort is set to appear in two episodes in the new season of the Syfy supernatural drama. You will have to wait awhile in the season for Laura, as she’s scheduled to arrive on the 12 and 13 episodes. In a role that I’m sure is not a stretch for her, Vandervoort will play a beautiful and intelligent lady who return to Haven, for the next round of trouble (in Haven, “trouble” is an understatement).
She’s not in for a good time, however, as she will suffer a loss and be driven mad. Season 3 of Haven kicks off this month, on September 21st, and Vandervoort is the second somewhat high profile guest star we’ve noted for the season, the other being Emilia Clarke’s Game of Thrones right-hand."

Exclusive - Laura Vandervoort guest-star in the tv serie HAVEN
I had already written a few hours ago in the previous post the my suspect that Laura was filming on the set of the tv series HAVEN.
Know enough about the series is a combination of factors led me to think this.
Know enough about the series is a combination of factors led me to think this.
Doing a search I found this video posted of the protagonist of the series, the actress Emily Rose.
Guess who appears behind her? The our beloved Laura.
So this confirmed that Laura is currently on the set of the series Haven.

So this confirmed that Laura is currently on the set of the series Haven.
In that role and for how many episodes Laura will be the guest-star, do not know yet, what I know for sure and that in the last days started the filming of the episode 13, the last of the season 3, then probably she will be present only in this last episode.
Here's the video and a screenshot from it:
When there will be new info, we will be here to share with you all. See soon Laura's Fans. ;-)
